Kashmir - J&K, August 15th '2013: On the eve of 67th Independence Day, the Director General of Prisons
Shri K. Rajendra Kumar, IPS, hoisted the National Flag at the J&K
Prisons Headquarter. The Deputy Inspector General of Prisons Dr M. S.
Lone, Superintendent Central Jail Srinagar Shri M. Ayoub Bhat, other
Officers and Prisons staff were present on the occasion.
Independence Day was also celebrated with fervour in all the Jails of
the State. National flags were hoisted by the Superintendents in the
Jails & sweets were distributed among the inmates and staff.
