District Jail Jammu

District Jail Jammu was commissioned during the Pre-Independence days and has served the erstwhile state well even during height of militancy. Like Central Jail Srinagar, this jail was also established during Maharaja's time and lots of renovation, addition and modification has been carried out to fortify it against the attempts of jail escape or jail break.
