District Jail Anantnag

The Jail has been commissioned on 31st December, 2011. The inmates especially under trial prisoners undergoing trial in South Kashmir were shifted to District Jail Anantnag to facilitate their speedy trial and also to reduce over-crowding in Central Jail Srinagar.
